After a meeting of The Foreskins Committee on Thursday 22nd August, there will be a change to the way handicaps are calculated across the Breadalbane weekend at Forest Pines. At the previous two weekends, any deductions have counted for both the individual Breadalbane and The Rider Cup. However, the decision was made to scrap any deductions for The Rider Cup since both events are completely separate. This means that competitors will have a handicap for the individual Breadalbane and potentially a different one for the team competition. The App will be configured to work all this out and keep things simple.

As with previous years, players will receive the stroke allowance based on the slope index of the three courses at Forest Pines. Again, this means there may be a difference of a one stroke between players handicaps on different rounds, depending on the course difficulty.

The Committee reviewed all 16 players' handicap indexes, which were initially based on previous years (except for those with an official handicap). Deductions were agreed based on form and ability with these being applied across the whole weekend for both competitions.

The table below reflects the final position*:

*Players with an official handicap can change right up until the day of the event.
