LEX MCTAGGART
Handicap: 15.8
The man from Galston made his Breadalbane bow at Slaley Hall in 2008 but wasn't seen again until The Essex in 2013 when he turned up and defeated everyone in the field to walk off with the coveted Quaich.
Lex went on to appear in the next 2 Breadalbane's, famously drinking Valle Del Este dry as the beer cart ran out of beers and Jimmy's villa ran out of red wine. As with many others, Lex then bowed out of BB10 but didn't return until 2023 at Heron's Reach, when he was drafted in as a late replacement and took his place in the Kenmore side.
Lex managed a middle of the road 12th placed finish in the individual Breadalbane on his return but secured a vital half point with playing partner Marc Barret in the Saturday fourballs, which was crucial in Kenmore winning for the 2nd year in a row.
Lex then dropped out again but will be returning for BBXX at La Cala and hoping to improve on his Rider Cup record.
