ANDREW BLACKHURST
Handicap: 28.0
Blackie was one of the stalwarts of the early Breadalbane after debuting in 2008 at Slaley Hall. He finished top of the high handicappers in 2011 to claim The Clique but that was something of a high point as a loss in form led to him ending up with the Green Jacket in 2015.
That led to a period of exile from the game for the big man from Edinburgh before returning in 2021 at Cardrona but only playing on the Sunday. He was then back in fully at Wokefield and Heron's Reach but finished in the bottom 4 on both occasions, whilst only managing to secure 1 point for Taymouth in the Rider Cup.
Ahead of the 2024 event, Blackie unfortunately announced that he wouldn't be available to compete at Forest Pines.
