EDDIE ROBERTS
Handicap: 20.6
A proud Founding Foreskin of the Breadalbane and the only member to have appeared in all tournaments up until 2024, Eddie took the decision to step away from the tour and hang up his headphones ahead of the event at Forest Pines.
Until that point, Eddie had established himself as a Breadalbane legend, losing in a play off to Alex Smith Senior in the first ever competition, before taking home the Quaich in 2008 from Slaley Hall.
A regular team winner in the old format of the weekend, Eddie's fierce competitive nature allowed him to excel when the Rider Cup was introduced. He boasts an impressive record, securing 5 points from a possible 6 for Taymouth; including notable singles victories over Adam Duncan and John Bruce.
Eddie will make a return as Captain of the Taymouth side at BBXX in La Cala, hoping to lead his team to a trophy defence.
