IAN BAIRD
Handicap: 6.7
Ian started his Breadalbane career in 2020 at Murrayshall and finished strongly in his first two appearances. Dropping off the roster after Peebles in 2021, Ian returned to action at Belton Woods in 2025 with a slightly revised handicap.
His first experience of The Rider Cup didn't begin well, losing his Friday Foursomes match with Anton Mowatt and then his Saturday Fourball game after a strong pairing with John McLuckie. His Sunday Singles showing was much better, securing one of the vital points needed by Taymouth with a comfortable win against Miles Shaw.
With that experience now under his belt, will Ian step up and deliver more points for his side in La Cala, whilst returning to the right end of the Breadalbane leaderboard?
