Adam Duncan vs. Baz Ramsay
This rivalry started when the two men were selected as opposing Captains in 2023 at Heron's Reach in Blackpool.
The Battle Begins
At Heron's Reach, the opposing Captains drew each other in both the Friday and Saturday sessions. Duncan and his partner James Cornelius defeated Ramsay and his partner Darren Petersen 7&6 in the foursomes but Ramsay would exact revenge with Steven Roberts in the Saturday fourball beating Duncan and Miles Shaw 2&1.

Duncan Savours Win
The rivalry intensified when Duncan successfully led Kenmore to their second win in a row in Blackpool, celebrating wildly in front of the defeated Taymouth team. The defeated Captain Ramsay vowed that he would use those scenes as motivation for the following year.
The Image That Haunts Him
Ahead of the first day's play at Forest Pines in 2024, a promotional video was shown which in included the winning celebrations from the year before. Ramsay quipped that Duncan should have made a t-shirt from the image but little did he know that the Kenmore man had done just that. As the pairings were announced, the two were drawn together again and Duncan removed his top to reveal the hidden t-shirt with the image and caption "Fuck you Baz".

Duncan Dominates
With the scores between the two men sitting at 1-1 after The Rider Cup in 2023, the event at Forest Pines would see them paired against each other on the Friday and Saturday for the second year running. Unfortunately for Ramsay, Duncan won the Friday match 4&3 with partner Gary Cornelius; against the deflated former Captain and 2024 Captain, John McLuckie. The Saturday fourball session was no better for the Taymouth man as he and Stephen MacKinnon lost 2&1 to Duncan and Jason Kerr. With Duncan now leading 3-1 in the personal duel and Kenmore unbeaten, will the two men be drawn together again in 2025?
Ramsay Has Last Laugh
The two men would renew their rivalry at Belton Woods. Before a ball was struck and introductory video for the weekend was shown with both Duncan and Ramsay taking the opportunity to have a pop at the other during it. When the pairings came out, almost inevitably, the two would face each other in the Friday Foursomes with Duncan and his partner Miles Shaw seeing off Ramsay and Alex Keir 5&4. However, Ramsay was again draw to play Duncan in the Saturday Fourball format and this time managed to get a win against his old nemesis. Partnered by Steven Roberts, they saw off Duncan and Dave Cook 3&1 to win a vital point for their side. Duncan now leads their personal series 4-2 overall. However, despite avoiding each other in the singles, Ramsay would have the last laugh in 2025 as Taymouth finally won The Rider Cup for the first time.
